I would say the main difference between Wiki and Blogs is that wikis can be worked on by multiple individuals while blogs are a personal site or platform that is usually created by someone to share with others. Users can edit their wikis and change information in tandem with other individuals who are all on the same platform. Blogs are different in the way that one person creates a document and others can then engage with the initial user's content. Users can comment on blogs but not with wikis. In today's society, blogs can be used to collaborate with coworkers or colleagues to work on a project together. They can also be used to have a discussion about a topic of interest with multiple people around the world. I chose to research and commit my project idea on the idea of social media marketing, the potential it has and the effects that it can bring to the world. It goes without saying, like many great concepts, there is bound to be pros and cons to them. Some people may prefer the idea and other may even hate it and would rather keep everything the way they are. Despite there being a few negative notions behind this new way of doing things, I want to the show the world the benefits and advantages that marketing in such a fashion can bring.
