Blog Social Networking
One big way that blog social
networking can be beneficial in a business aspect is the idea of monetization. By
placing advertisements and other promotional channels as a part of the blogs users,
customers and the advertisers can all benefit. From the user’s side, they are able
to earn revenue doing what they love. From the advertiser’s side, they are able
to benefit from all the traffic that passes through the blog creating more
recognition for the company and hopefully resulting in them making money as
well. Lastly, the customers are also able to benefit since they would be
receiving a “free” service since the fee is already incorporated in the
monetization. Other than this, there are also a slew of other benefits that
come with blog social networking. By using blogging as a channel, content
marketing can then be utilized which is a very effective way to engage with the
target audience, building a better brand and generate sales.
On the other hand, as with anything that is good comes with
a bad side as well. There are definitely a couple of draw backs associated with
blog social networking as well. One of the biggest reasons for that is the loss
of face-to-face communication. By conducting a majority of one’s business online,
they are losing the valuable time and opportunities to communicate in real
life. Another reason that this channel can be bad is because of the fact that
there are much less consequences when saying things online. Without being required
to have a face to the name, anyone can just say what they want and often get
away with it without having any second thoughts.
With the advancement of A.I. and virtual reality, I personally
think that these platforms will eventually be moved to a space where people may
be able to see each other online.
